Clean Water Celebration Speakers Announced
We are saddened that due to Covid-19 the 2020 Clean Water Celebration could not be held. We are excited to announce the 2019 Sea Youth Rise Up Delegates will be our keynote speakers for the 2021 Clean Water Celebration to be held April 25- 26, 2021.
The 2019 Sea Youth Rise Up delegation traveled to Washington D.C. in June to advocate for increased policy to protect and restore our ocean and our climate, the two major interconnected issues facing our planet and society. Dine with and meet these seven youth leaders selected from across the United States. Hear about their projects in their schools and communities. Ask them about the skills and knowledge they gained while they were in D.C. Share your ideas and projects. Rise up and affect change!

About Clean Water Celebrations
The Clean Water Celebration is a two-day event held each spring at the Peoria Civic Center in Peoria, Illinois. The largest event of its kind in the world, students learn how to make a difference by protecting water—our most precious resource. Today, it is Illinois students, teachers, business professionals and environmentalists, joined by an odd assortment of tiny tadpoles, wiggly worms, native bluegills, and zebra mussels. There’s nothing like it anywhere.
