2021 Community Arts Access Grants at Work

One of the recipients of the Community Art Access Grant for 2021 was the Princeton Theater Group.

The funds were used to support artist fees, who worked exclusively with the participants during the run of the camp. The camp provided the youth nuts and bolts of auditioning, improvisation, make-up, wardrobe, stage design, lighting and sound, musical theater and more. Campers had the opportunity to work with theater professionals and the opportunity to audition for youth roles in the Festival 56 production of “Godspell”. The camp served up to 45 youth ages 8-18 in the Illinois Valley area.
