Laurel Huston

Laurel is a daughter of longtime Sun Foundation instructor and storyteller Brian “Fox” Ellis. She has spent her life immersed in the outdoors! She enjoys learning about animals, ecology, and the natural world around her. She holds a Master’s degree in Education and is both a Licensed School Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor. A former Sun Foundation camper herself, Laurel has since returned as a teaching assistant, volunteer, and guest instructor. Now, she’s excited to carry forward her father’s legacy while bringing her own blend of experience and creativity to the program. For the past decade, she has also served as the Production Director for the Historic Springdale Cemetery Tours, where she combines storytelling and history to both inspire and educate future generations.
