Dellvenna Hambling

With a B.S. in Biology and an M.S. in Secondary Education, Dell has spent 19 years teaching physics in public schools and now teaches at a private school that celebrates and uplifts the diverse backgrounds and talents of its students. She also teaches a class at Indiana University on Outdoor Survival. Dell is an avid adventure racer, enjoying mountain biking, trekking, paddling, and navigating with a map and compass, which is the perfect intersection of science, creativity, and exploration! When she’s not outdoors, she can usually be found knitting, reading, or spending time with her husband and their two cats. She looks forward to sharing her curiosity, love of learning, and enthusiasm for discovery with campers this summer after a 10 year hiatus from ASIW!
