Learn about organic farming practices and how creative thinking can lower costs

This class will cover lowering organic farming costs by utilizing creative soil processes. It will be an introduction to organic farming methods, practical applications, tillage practices, weed control, fertility building, grain handling, and marketing. The class is for conventional and organic farmers, prospective farmers, students, and the general public.

Gary McDonald is an organic farmer, educator, former president of the Organic Crop Improvement Association (OCIA), and the Director of Organic Resource Advisor in Springfield, Illinois.
