Grass Roots Storytelling
Students will use interactive language arts (poetry, songs, storytelling, folktales and make believe). Incorporating the magnificent beauty of The Sun Foundation we will engage our imaginations as we read, write and tell stories in rhythm, with the group and individually. Students will discover and support individual talents and learn to share those talents for the benefit of the class, the camp and those encountered long after class is over. Formerly known as “Storytelling Time,” this new class adds a component of visual creativity to the course. Students will have at least one keep-sake combining picture and story.
