“When Love is deep much can be accomplished.” Dr. Shinichi Suzuki
Violin Instruction offered by Certified Suzuki Instructors
The Suzuki method helps students develop in many ways, including listening and motor skills, use of right and left-brain, self-esteem, prose, and love of music. Parents are an integral part of the Suzuki method and are expected to attend lessons and become the teacher at home. Parents and students are encouraged to attend a class session prior to enrollment. The Suzuki School of Music’s office is located at the Sun Foundation Center in rural Washburn. Violin, viola, and piano instruction takes place at the The Universalist Unitarian Church, 3000 W. Richwood Blvd., Peoria. Instruction begins in late August and meets until May. Summer school classes are offered and need to be scheduled with an instructor.
Lesson Format Age 3 1/2 to Adult. Classes begin the last week of August. All scheduling is done by the instructor.
